Candidates must meet all requirements as set forth in the United States Constitution, New Jersey Constitution and NJSA 19:23-8 shown here.

For a write-in (personal choice) candidate to be included on the General Election ballot he must receive at least an equal amount of votes as signatures required on a Primary Election petition. (See NJSA 19:14-2.1)

County Committee Member
County Committee is a statutory office with two positions in every political district for each political party. Both Democratic and Republican Committee members serve four year terms coinciding with the Presidential Primary Election.

File: Municipal Clerk’s office by 4:00 p.m. 64 days prior to the election.
Municipal Offices in Dennis Twp., Lower Twp., Middle Twp., North Wildwood, Stone Harbor, Upper Township and Woodbine.
Petition: Primary Petition Nominating Candidate(s) for Municipal Offices. Petitions are also available from the Municipal Clerk.
File: Municipal Clerk’s office by 4:00 p.m. 64 days prior to the election.
